now on to the real topic..Dreams..
yup, i just found out that we can actually dream in reality or dream of reality, but its nearly the same thing...i started becoming interested in this topic since watching Inception, which by the way, can ACTUALLY be done, imagine that, i'll teach how to later on in this blog.
In a dream if a dreamer knows he is dreaming then its called a Lucid Dream. Now its not Liquid dreams like the song, or a wet dream like most guys get. no, a lucid dream is a dream in which one is aware it is dreaming. This can begin in either one of 2 ways.
- Dream-Initiated Lucid Dream (DILD) starts as a normal dream, and the dreamer eventually concludes it is a dream
so now a lucid dream basically means when your dreaming you know you're dreaming., meaning you can actually control the dream assuming you can do whatever you want in that dream. Thus, indicating one can actually stop the nightmares from coming right? well a neurophysiologist proved this can be done through a few simple steps but one must first know they are dreaming before continuing.
and a certain someone asks me "if we can control the dream wouldn't that make the nightmare disappear?" and then i replied, "no, see the nightmare is still there you just fight it out, its kinda like facing your fears, the fear is still there you just have to face it, get me?"
now in the movie inception tels us that we can plant an idea in our brain and let it take control over one's mind, the inception im about to teach you is nearly the same thing, just you do it to yourself, inception means to plant an idea or to solve a problem while being in a dream.
now these are the steps towards doing so.
1. Before going to sleep, think of the problem, lets say if your a mathematician look at the problem or an
unsolved equation before going to sleep, and then just let it consume you. Lets say you're an inventor look at the machine you half invented and then let that consume you to sleep. Now the concept is fairly simple and a little illogical no? I mean how can one solve a problem in a subconcius state.
2. Hence no. 2, now our mind only works 8 % most of the time when we're awake, but when we're asleep
it amplifies, and it amplifies even more when one is having a lucid dream. Thus, our mind can actually
solve a problem a lot better in sleep rather than in wake.
3. Now Equally important, DO NOT i repeat DO NOT jump out of bed and do something else right
afterwards, see the reason for this is because half of the dream content will be forgotten if one gets
distracted. The first thing to do is actually just stay where you are, even if you fell out of your bed, yes its that important. If you don't recall a dream immediately, see if you feel a particular emotion, the whole
dream would come flooding back.
